His musical The Sixth Borough, written with Eric Price, has been workshopped at the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and at Indiana University's Premier Musicals program. Reynolds is also the creator of The Greenwood Tree, a musical with text by Shakespeare, which was first workshopped at the Carnegie Melon School of Drama and can now be found on iTunes under its former title, Sighs of Fire. Among those scheduled to sing Lippa tunes are Ginny Brazier, Cat Davis, Jamie Finkenthal, Julia Gordon, Angela Ingersoll and Andrew Keltz as well as Vanjah Boikai, Missy Karle and Andy Planck. Alison Kane is music director.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  &lt;i&gt;Monday Nights, New Voices&lt;/i&gt; is produced by David Tomczak and Allen Sledge in association with composer Scott Alan. The series, which also plays New York's Duplex, "strives to offer artistic opportunity to talent on both a local and a national level and provides a chance for its audience to be included in the artistic development process of theatre."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  Andrew Lippa has written the scores for the Off-Broadway productions of &lt;i&gt;The Wild Party&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;john &amp;amp; jen&lt;/i&gt;. He also contributed songs to the Broadway revival of &lt;i&gt;You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown&lt;/i&gt;. Lippa's most recent projects include &lt;i&gt;A Little Princess, Asphalt Beach&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;Jerry Christmas&lt;/i&gt;. The CD features Alan’s original compositions being sung by Broadway’s brightest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the past, Monday Nights New Voices has had such composers as Stephen Schwartz, Michael John LaChiusa, Andrew Lippa, Stephen Flaherty, Ricky Ian Gordon, and Joe Iconis. Past hosts have included stars such as Shoshana Bean, Sutton Foster, Jenna Leigh Green, Cheyenne Jackson, and Lauren Kennedy. Several of the featured ‘new voices’ have gone on to successful careers in the industry such as: Rashad Naylor, who is currently in Chicago’s Jersey Boys, Brian Crum, who premiered in Chicago’s Altar Boyz, Marla Mindelle, who is on tour with the Drowsy Chaperone and Jenny Powers, who was seen in Little Women.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Monday Nights New Voices: Chicago will follow the same format of honoring rising talent but will focus primarily on Chicago’s gems. The series premiere, produced by Allen Sledge and David Tomczak in association with Scott Alan, will feature current star of Broadway in Chicago’s Wicked, Dee Rosciolo, as guest host. Also from Wicked will be the evening’s music director, Colin Welford. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;The evening is proud to honor the songwriting team Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann, winners of the 2008 Jonathan Larson Award. Chicago was introduced to Thomson and Mann in 2005 when their musical, The New Kid, was part of the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;The ‘new voices’ being honored are Jennlee Shallow, Jamie Finkenthal, Riley Thomas, and two Jeff Award winners, Michael Mahler and Cat Davis. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Monday Nights New Voices: Chicago will provide an opportunity for Chicago to embrace its own musical theatre community while welcoming its rising participants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gentry On State is located at 440 North State Street, and is one of the city’s leading cabaret venues. Produced by Mahar Mangahas and Laura Cabochan in association with creator Alan, the evening will feature the voices of Caisa Borromeo, the aforementioned Cabochan, Fame Flores, Marvin Ong and Felix Rivera. The singers will perform the work of composer Rony Fortich, who penned the children's puppet show &lt;i&gt;Noah's Big Boat&lt;/i&gt; and the title song for &lt;i&gt;Stages of Love&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;  Actress-director Chari Arespacochaga will host the evening.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; The Chicago premiere will be seen a week later on April 21 at Gentry on State and will, according to press notes, "provide an opportunity for Chicago to embrace its own musical theatre community while welcoming its rising participants."
